Welcome to IT Community Portal site, My name is Sam Bitar and I am the creator and Co-Designer of the IT community site. The purpose of this site is to combine different free services togther and make the site central place for all IT companies and IT people to interact together as one community which everyone will have benefits from it. 

This is a short list of what we are offering and not in any mean complete because the site still under construction and we are always open for new ideas to add to our list of FREE services.

We offer Technical / Job related articles to help IT people understand the job market and all related technical skills required to be successfull in that Market....

We offer the list of IT Groups available in (Ottawa now and may be other cities in canada in the future). This list of IT Groups will include the Group name and Description on the specialties of the group and web site link if any  and may be some Contact information for People intersted to join these group...

We offer JobBoard service where companies can post their jobs on our board and members can search these jobs. This service will have two parts:  

• Mailing List Free service where Members will receive E-mail of available jobs on weekly bases to check and Apply for them.
• Online JobBoard service for members to check out....

We have a process in place to go on the net and check over 2000 local companies and job agencies to find available jobs and report them with Appropriate URLs. The process will be done in 2 steps:

 A) Windows Application will search a database of over 2000+ companies and report all changed Career pages on these companies web sites.

B) Part-time or Volunteer person will check all of these reported Pages in the windows application and copy whatever valid new job he/she finds into an "input module" type and once finished all the reported job pages, he/she will save the data and the system will store a copy in the Job Board Module for searching later and another copy will be e-mailed to all opt-in subscribers as a weekly newsletter.

We Offer the CompanyList as a seperate option if memebers would like to check individual companies.

We offer Discussions options:

• Discussion Blogs will provide users with different technical / Marketing blogs written by companies and/or gurus which  users can read and comment on them if needed.


•  Discussion Forums will provide users with a method to discuss and ask questions on different subjects.

We offer Podcasts which are Audio (MP3) interviews with different companies and gurus on different Technical or markeking issues which will be available to all Users to listen to anhd comment on them in the discussion forums.

The Sponsors page will show all of our sponsors logos and details pages on the nature of their busineses and links to their web sites if any exists.

We offer Support option for users and companies if they have any technical problem with the site and we provide a list of all the tasks and to do list for the site and the volunteer(s) are involves in helping develope the site.

As we said in the begining of the message, this is not in any mean a final list, we need your help in making the site better and more functional and we will appreciate it if you can share with us your ideas.
